It differs from Diplomatic and Official visas, which are issued only to holders of diplomatic or service passports: Non-F applicants usually hold ordinary passports but carry a letter from the inviting or sending body stating the mission, its period and the Thai counterpart agency. Assessment turns on consistency between that letter, the real mission and the requested period.
