NAATI is Australia's national accreditation body for translators. A compliant translation carries the translator's NAATI number, certification level, language direction, a signed statement of accuracy and the stamp date. Australian departments verify the number against the NAATI public register — a translation without a verifiable number is rejected even if the wording is perfect.

Physical originals are only requested for paper-based streams or if a case officer raises a document integrity concern. We supply a high-resolution PDF plus the source pairing in one file to avoid mismatch requests.

Birth and marriage certificates, house registration, national ID, police clearance, bank statements, payslips, employment letters, academic transcripts and degrees, and relationship evidence for partner visas. For partner and parent visas, statutory declarations from supporting witnesses written in Thai must also be translated to the same standard.

New Zealand Immigration, many Australian and NZ universities, and several professional registration bodies accept NAATI translations. The UK, US and Schengen states generally do not require NAATI specifically — they want a certified or sworn translation under their own rules, so paying for NAATI there adds cost without adding acceptance.

The translation does not expire, but the underlying document can. A police clearance or bank statement is usually only accepted within 3–12 months of issue, so the translation ages with it. Civil documents such as birth certificates keep their value indefinitely, and the same PDF can be re-lodged for later applications.

We follow the Royal Thai General System of Transcription, then override it to match the spelling already printed in your passport. Consistency with the passport is what prevents identity-mismatch requests. Where an older document uses a different spelling, we add a translator's note linking both forms rather than silently changing one.
