The foreign payer or tax authority normally also wants the certificate translated and legalised for use abroad, so plan the certification chain at the same time as the application rather than after it.

Is foreign income taxed in Thailand?

Section 41, paragraph 2 of the Revenue Code taxes a Thai tax resident on foreign-sourced income when that income is brought into Thailand.
