What if the destination rejects the document?
If the rejection stems from something on our side — a typo, wording that does not match the instruction you gave us, or a missing certification layer — we redo the work at no service charge. Can Thailand issue an apostille yet?
Not yet. Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the 1961 Apostille Convention on 2026-06-30, and per the HCCH depositary notice the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Until then Thai documents follow the two-step consular route. We plan document timing around whichever route applies on your filing date.
Affidavit or statutory declaration — which one do I need?
Both are written statements confirmed before an authorised person. Affidavits use sworn wording and appear mostly in litigation; statutory declarations use declared wording and appear mostly in administrative matters such as confirming status or a relationship.
