Can I wear glasses?

Not since 2016 (US) and 2018 (Schengen). Exception with medical letter and no lens glare.

Can I wear religious head coverings?

Yes — hijab, turban, yarmulke allowed everywhere. Face from forehead to chin must be fully visible.

Is photographing infants difficult?

We have a children's studio + soothing team. For newborns–1 year: white cloth on chair + portrait orientation. Usually first-shot success.

Why does Schengen require 35×45 mm?

Schengen-specific standard — larger than US, light grey/white background, shoulders 70–80% of frame. NYC prints exact size, ready to paste.

Can I reuse old photos?

Usually must be ≤6 months old. If appearance unchanged (no new beard/surgery), may pass — but new photos are safer.

Where do I lodge a visa application — must I go to the embassy?

Many countries outsource intake to visa application centres (VFS Global, TLScontact, BLS) with offices in Bangkok and some provinces; others accept lodgement at the embassy or fully online. Channels change by embassy announcement, so confirm the current route before booking. We can pre-check your document set and arrange appointments from any of our three offices.

Can I apply myself, or do I need an agency?

You can always apply yourself; no country requires an agent, and no agent can guarantee approval because the decision is at the consular officer's discretion. The value of assistance is assembling the file exactly to the official checklist, correct translation and certification format, and a focused cover letter.

What are the baseline documents?

Typically a passport with the validity and blank pages the destination requires, the completed application form, photos to the destination's specification, financial evidence for the stated period, proof of employment or study, travel and accommodation plans, and health insurance where required. Always follow that embassy's official checklist, as requirements differ by country.
